In 1997 MIDEVIL would release their second album “Expiration Day” and try to continue to keep the momentum up, which was certainly a feat for any metal act in the 1990s. By the end of the decade, the group would have released a 5-song EP entitled “Force to Believe” in May of 1999 before finally putting MIDEVIL to rest.

Over the next 18-years, these private press releases would become highly sought after by fans and collectors alike. In 2017 a small buzz began to be heard again on social media about MIDEVIL

Quite possibly the best thrash metal album since the early 90s. Sounds like it could be a lost classic from 87-90, but it’s not a paint-by-numbers retro exercise, either. Vicious riffs and killer lead work (check out the Maiden-esque harmonies on “Spiral of Hatred” and ""Onset"). Love that snare sound, too. Juan Valdeath

Killer thrash from the 80s, remastered and re-released to remind the kids how it was done before there was a roadmap. I never heard of them until now, but these guys hold up well against the best of the popular bands of the era- Death Angel, Violence, Forbidden, early Metallica and early Slayer. Edit: After a coupla months to digest this, I have to say these guys are one of the best thrash bands ever, period. The fact that they were doing this in 1986 is testament to their fucking genius.
