Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, the band built a name for themselves through Midwest tour dates and their 2007 album Monuments on Melissa Records. Last year the core of the band, Steve Handel and guitarist Alex Ritchey relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to team up with Avenger of Blood drummer Shannon Frye to complete the 'Prelude to Madness' EP, issued late 2009 by Heaven and Hell Records. 'Epidemic' followed up the EP a couple of months later.
The more I listen, the more I am liking it. The production is definitely different (worse?) from the 2000s albums, but it's still Into Eternity doing their melodic prog/death/power thing better than most and with a great new vocalist. Keep them coming! Paul
Quite possibly the best thrash metal album since the early 90s. Sounds like it could be a lost classic from 87-90, but it’s not a paint-by-numbers retro exercise, either. Vicious riffs and killer lead work (check out the Maiden-esque harmonies on “Spiral of Hatred” and ""Onset"). Love that snare sound, too. Juan Valdeath
