blic Enemy
Killing time
Is like a slap in the face
Got the perfect crime
Anytime or place
I’m a hard cold dealer
And that’s all I got to say
A run for your money
And then I’ll make you pay
When I get around
You better get out of town
The streets are for me
The young and the free
Don’t mess with me, ‘cause I’m a
(Chorus)
Public Enemy
Public Enemy
Troubled lives
I have no regrets
Desperate times
I take what I can get
I’ve got an ear for the action
The clock is ticking slow
Time for reaction
Second hand rolls
When I get around
You better get out of town
The streets are for me
The young and the free
Don’t mess with me, ‘cause I’m a
Chorus
Public Enemy
Public Enemy
You can try to stop me
But you’ll never catch me
Lookout man
I’ll blow you away
You can try to break me
But you’ll never take me
Come on now, get outta my way
So I can't leave a long enough review to say everything I want. But I will say this, I love this EP. It's a great little follow up to times, and has just enough of a dynamic shift in sound to prove that Smoulder isn't a one trick pony with their first album's formula. This one really plays up the 70s prog aspects (DUST and Manilla Road influences definitely shine through even harder here). It's still Smoulder, don't get me wrong. Just a different side in some ways, all of which are good. playfulpooka
Members of Napalm Death and Benediction swap razed-earth grind for old-school heavy metal, with screeching vocals and soaring riffs aplenty. Bandcamp New & Notable May 27, 2020
If Elric had a soundtrack it would be this. It's everything you want from a epic metal album. Like a hot poker in the eye, but in a good way. Scott Malthouse
